Emphasis Update and Source

Emphasis Update and Source. Emphasis is an entirely Javascript implementation of paragraph-level permalinks coupled with the ability to highlight and share specific paragraphs or sentences. Yes, Michael Donohoe totally one-upped Winerlinks and I think it’s wicked cool. Ben Balter wrote a WordPress plugin now running on this blog.

Thanks for the shoutout (and the tag!). Was/am a huge fan of WinerLinks and, since you’re the resident WordPress paragraph-level-linking expert, would love to pick your brain sometime about better integrating the NYT code with WordPress, or more broadly ways to merge in some of the awesomely cool power of WinerLinks.

Sure thing, anytime. Feel free to shoot me an email. I think Michael hit all of the functionality I had in the Winerlinks plugin so I might just push a bug fix version and end the project.

Nice! That looks like a stellar improvement on WinerLinks.
